///ALONE TOGETHER///

She would lock herself up for over a week/
Hiding something for others to seek/
Ever so shy but she loved to sing/
Oh, how mystery is a most precious thing/

Just as the stars would fill up the sky/
Salt water oceans would fill up her eyes/
She thought she was happy spending nights with a vial/
But an upsidedown frown was what she called a smile/

She loved not remembering, her memories were stolen/
& singing the baby blues she thought were golden/
Looking in the mirror she was never not saddened/
Some days she'd wake up wishing she hadn't/

She lost herself & couldn't be found/
Dipping & dipping until she drowned/
Floating the days away much like a feather/
It was her & herself, alone together/

She would lock herself up for over a week/
Silencing words she never could speak/
Pen to paper was her means of expression/
She wrote of her enemies, namely depression/

Just as the stars would fill up the sky/
Her life was full of highs & goodbyes/
She fell in love just as easy as out/
With a smash & a shake, a scream & a shout/

She loved not remembering, her memories were stolen/
She knew of the future but not of days olden/
What gave her hope at any given time:/
A tattoo at her waist that read "i'll be fine"/

She lost herself & couldn't be found/
Dipping & dipping until she drowned/
Floating the days away much like a feather/
It was her & herself, alone together/
