///SIXTEENTH///

Monday the 16th must be close enough to Friday the 13th that it manages to carry on some of the leftover eeriness. Leaving behind past film fantasies getting stranded on parking lot rooftops in the middle of downtown LA & having to be rescued by much amused firemen, siren & all, Ixchel & I had a digital  late night tryst. Pete's underground restroom is perhaps one of the most comfy make-yourself-at-home public restrooms in all of LA; & of course we made ourselves at home by making use of the timer, for almost an hour, before resurfacing to the restaurant we had forgotten was above. Aside from cute-ish self-portraits, there were midnight séances, mirrored pyramids, masked wiccan stares, jailed skylines, & gypsied escapes reminding me of my pre-teen obsession with The Craft [which is still influential today & evidenced in each year's slight variation on the gothic school girl look for the 31st of October].

A couple weeks later, unbeknownst to him, Mikey took the exact same photo with Savannah as the subject;
apparently a popular concept: double exposure-like photos with digital cameras. I like it.
