no, not william s. burroughs of the beat generation. augusten burroughs, author of [running with scissors] - the book i wanted so desperately to buy browsing a bookstore in singapore in 2003. but bought a [stretsis] top instead. anywayyy.. one of my favorite magazines, [soma], asked augusten in a recent interview what his obsessions were at ages 13, 15, 24, and 30. this is what he wrote:

bookman is the schizophrenic man augusten lost his virginity to. bookman was twice his senior. ohhh, bookman..

so yeh.. this evening i cooked at home for the first time in a longgg long time. chicken with creamy mushroom/broccoli/tomato sauce. and rice, of course. i impressed myself.. the smoke alarm didn't go off. and it was edible.

i must continue with my last minute costume history project now. when i'm required to flip through magazines for a project, it's so damn hard to stay focused on the task at hand.. argh! it's getting late. and i have to get up early. ie: before 3:00pm.
