i watched speed racer today at the grove. absolutely amazing, visually.. my eyes fell in love with the colorscolorscolors.

and i myself developed an immediate crush on jeong ji-hoon [also known as rain, the korean singer/dancer/model/actor] when he first appeared on screen as taejo togokhan.





















i thought he was cute. but, fuck, i didn't know he was HOTTT:




















alsooo. before watching the movie, i checked out the clocktower taschen store and perved at three of my favoritest things: architecture, hotels, [saudek]. please please pleeease skim through this book if you get the chance:




















the emirates have sooo many more buildings equally as OMFG as [burj al arab] [the sail-like hotel shown on the cover that everyone and their mom wants to stay in]. look at their louvre museum by french architect, [jean nouvel], and tell me that isn't fucking dope.. to filter sunlight as in nature is genius, some of the most beautiful design i've seen for a whileee:







shitt.. and here i was thinking THE GETTY was amazing. HA!

i blogged about that taschen store opening in the [blvd&ave] blog. fuck i miss writing there.. but i haven't been able to lately as i haven't exactly been doing anything here in LA that has been culturally stimulating..
