found my last free issue of [SOMA] in the mail the other day.

quite sad, yes. i do often wonder if they'll grant me another free subscription.. ?

watched [21] last week.

dude looks good in a suit and chica's mega cute. but then again, any guy looks hott shitt in a suit. i'd be good at counting, i reckon.. i fucking love math. but then again, my memory's pretty shabby.

so i went into borders at 3rd street promenade yesterday [which, in the end, turned out to be barnes&noble haha].. went to the art section and was immediately stopped in my tracks by three books. placed exactly adjacent to one another - letters of mayhem, riceboy sleeping, double game.



beautifully creative in vintage-look or fragile ways, the feel was very personal. words, if present, touching or ingeniously enumerated. diaries, blank or the polar opposite. all owning minute details that could easily be missed, but an absolute delight when spotted. i could only afford one - double game. i might like to write something similar of myself one day. the first book shall be mine soon and the second i shall buy for another.

from books to movies - i can't really wait till [smart people] comes out this season..

so i think i'll just find the pirated version or download it. jesting, of course. i'm sick of spending $20 [movie + snacks] watching average movies.. ellen page is sure to save the day. i can't get over her. i think if i met her in real life, i just might hit on her sarcastic-ass. anyway, the film should be out really soon, watch it.

my ipod from c2002 or something is finally dying. it hasn't been able to scroll for two months now. really fucking annoying. the songs on my ipod aren't all on my itunes so senuti [itunes backwards! thanks again, helena] helped me solve that crap. and i bought a new ipod two days ago. so that solves the dilemma even more.

i wouldn't mind working for [studio O+a]. mathematics + interior design whizzes. they "construct atmosphere and ambience where there was once nothing." funfunfun. but i think for a first job, i'm doomed for entry-level retail. THE SALES ASSOCIATE. i visited the new [calvin klein] store in the beverly center the other day.. fucking greatgreatgreat. looks like an ocd person had a field day in that place and, as a result, i am fucking in love with it. very linear and organized, and everything's spaced so perfectly. spacious and minimal. and, of course, they have a cute selection of wardrobe basics/staples with rather lush fabrics.

and, the in2u scent didn't do any harm either.

more exhibits i would like to go see are [kara walker] at the hammer museum [whose work strangely reminds me of karen walker's little hobo girl silhouette symbol.. perhaps 'tis karen walker, and kara is her artist name.. ok, not really].



also, there is [california video] at the getty.


if this weekend is both sunny and warm, i might actually make it to these.. ech.

to take a break from the comedy and horror which is regular news, why not try [nat geo] for a change? a flat-faced fish that crawls rather than swims was discovered in indonesia a couple months back.

its face reminds me much of the [rogue status] symbol haha.

i'd much rather see images of newly discovered animals from deep seas than bombings and bush fires, personally.

spring allergy sufferers, holler. in the battle between loratadine and cetirizine, i say they both fucking LOSE.

none of them are working for me, so i've resorted to taking a daily dose of ecstasy to rid of my allergies completely yet temporarily.

i'm so obsessed with words. whenever i think of a new tattoo idea, it's always just random words. someone's name [not in a heart], an artwork's name, some lyrics, some great translation, [not bible quotes], [and not 'mom' or 'dad'] et cetera et cetera. fuck it, i should just go all out and ink a whole fucking novel on myself.

to semi-end with a bang [haha how gay am i] - did you know that russia tested the father of all bombs on 9/11 of last year.

said to be the biggest non-nuclear weapon in the world, four times more powerful than the americans' mother of all bombs. it's smaller yet more effective.

but the most important thing right now is.. thinking of one blues piece and one post-1945 jazz piece for my audition.. hmm. fuck.
