I always found it easy to cry for others' pain or for the pain I caused others; to cry selflessly.
But to cry selfishly over pain I felt within myself, I mean, to really cry?
I've never done so as much as I have this past month.
& as much as it hurts, I think it was needed.
& I can begin to move on now.
Slowly but surely.

It is somehow liberating, as if getting rid of something emotionally hurtful
by physical, permanent means. Each tear dropped means one less painful memory to remember.
